Everything you need to know about our 100% private architecture, security models, and deployment.
It is a 100% private, high-performance portfolio manager built strictly for domain investors. To our knowledge, it is the first app to combine the absolute privacy of an offline spreadsheet with the speed and automation of a cloud platform. It handles bulk pricing, filtering, and data organization, but your portfolio and API keys are never stored on our servers - they live entirely in your own user-controlled Cloudflare workspace.
Spreadsheets are private but require hours of manual data entry and lack marketplace integrations. Established SaaS platforms offer automation but force you to hand over your API keys and portfolio data to a centralized server - and charge you monthly for the privilege. mgr.domains gives you the best of both worlds: the power and automation of a modern application, with the 100% privacy and zero cost of a local file.
Phase 1 is a web-based application, but it is fully optimized for both desktop and mobile web browsers. We know domaining doesn't stop when you leave your desk, so the interface is designed to be just as powerful on your phone as it is on a 4K monitor.
Absolutely not. This is our core guarantee. Your database lives entirely inside your personal Cloudflare account. Your master password and registrar API keys are encrypted in your browser and never leave it in plain text. We have zero access to your data.
Your data remains under your total control. While we provide the web interface you use to manage your domains, the 'engine' and the database live in your personal Cloudflare account. Even if our website were to go offline, your data is never lost - it stays in your account, and because you own the backend, your portfolio and API keys remain accessible to you at all times.
Don't trust, verify. You can confirm our Zero-Knowledge architecture yourself in two ways. First, open your browser's Developer Tools and monitor the Network tab; you will see that all API traffic goes strictly to your personal '[your-subdomain].workers.dev' endpoint. Second, you have full access to the backend Worker code deployed in your Cloudflare dashboard. While the code is minified for faster deployments, it can still be audited to confirm no data is being routed back to us.
No. Knowing your backend URL is useless. Every request to your database is protected by a strict digital perimeter. To access the data, the application needs a secret authentication key that is only unlocked when you enter your Master Password. Without that password, an attacker cannot get past the login screen or download any of your data.
Hosting the web interface centrally allows us to push UI updates, bug fixes, and new features instantly. If you hosted the UI yourself, manually updating it every time we released a feature would be a nightmare. The central UI acts purely as a 'remote control' - it connects directly to your private Cloudflare backend without routing data through our servers.
No. Our setup wizard guides you step-by-step to connect your free Cloudflare account. The entire deployment takes about 3 minutes.
Cloudflare provides enterprise-grade infrastructure with an incredibly generous Free Tier. Their serverless Workers and D1 SQL database are perfect for this architecture. Since a domain portfolio's read/write traffic is extremely low compared to a public website, you get a globally distributed, highly secure backend workspace for zero monthly cost.
In almost all cases, no. Domain portfolios generate very low traffic compared to public websites. This footprint easily fits within Cloudflare's generous Free Tier.
While Cloudflare powers a massive portion of the internet, outages can happen to even the biggest infrastructure providers. If Cloudflare experiences downtime, the web interface may temporarily lose connection to your backend workspace. However, your portfolio data is securely stored at rest in your D1 database. No data is lost, and full access will automatically restore as soon as Cloudflare resolves the network issue.
The platform is built for power users. Whether you have 100 or 10,000+ domains, the grid is designed to handle high-density data and rapid bulk edits smoothly.
You have two fast options: use our smart CSV importer for bulk exports from your registrar, or simply paste a list of domain names into a text box. In both cases, our engine automatically fetches the expiry dates and registrar info for you so you don't have to enter data manually.
No. Even without a direct registrar connection, our system uses public records (RDAP/WHOIS) to automatically gather and update expiry dates for the domains in your portfolio, saving you hours of manual data entry.
Yes. You can upload standard CSV exports directly from major marketplaces. Our smart importer reads the file, matches it against your current portfolio, and allows you to sync your Buy It Now (BIN) and Floor prices in bulk.
The importer runs a reconciliation check before saving anything. It will explicitly flag any 'Pricing Conflicts' between your local workspace and the marketplace file, allowing you to review and choose which price to keep before applying the update.
Because we cannot see your password, we cannot reset it. If you lose it, you must use the 'Emergency Kit' PDF generated during setup to recover your workspace. If you lose both, your data cannot be decrypted by anyone.
Yes. As long as you are logged in, you can easily rotate your master password from the settings menu and generate a fresh Emergency Kit.
Yes, Phase 1 is 100% free with no catch. Because you deploy the database to your own Cloudflare account, we have zero server costs for hosting your portfolio. Think of Phase 1 as an ultra-advanced, highly secure Excel spreadsheet built specifically for domaining. Our business model is not to charge you for basic access or storage; future paid features will focus purely on convenience-like automated registrar sync, AI tools, and custom landing pages.
Phase 2 will introduce advanced automation: AI advisors for descriptions and valuations, domain watchlists, automated registrar and marketplace sync (allowing you to update DNS and prices directly), custom landing pages, and detailed traffic stats.
Core management features will always remain free. Phase 2 automation tools will require a small subscription, but we are designing it to be just a fraction of a standard .com renewal.
You can use the subscribe box on our home page. We'll only email you when major features (like Phase 2) drop.
